TeenWorks summer program

The program is a summer employment and career readiness opportunity that runs for six weeks from July 5 to August 13. It is open to any Rahway resident 16 years of age or older.Those accepted into the program will participate in a number of activities and projects, according to the announcement released by the city, designed to help “establish a foundation in their career pursuits through the creation of a performance portfolio.”

Youth Mentoring Program

Youth Anger Management Program

The Anger Management Program works with youth (12-18) who have found that anger has created difficulties for them in areas of school, family relationships and social situations. Sessions are for eight weeks and take place three times per year throughout Union County.

Young Adult & Transitioning Youth Program

This program will provide positive intervention services to young adults, ages 18-24, addressing their current barriers Prepared by The Aubrey Group 04/13/2022 to education, housing, and job placement.

Both in-school youth (ISY) and out-of-school youth (OSY), as defined below, are eligible for youth services

“Empowering Our Youth” Summer Employment Program

This employment program is offering both full-time and part-time positions at various locations at $15 an hour. The “Empowering Our Youth” Summer Employment Program can provide uniforms, transportation, and childcare to those looking for summer jobs.

Destiny After School Haven is a 21st Century Community Learning Center grant recipient. DASH is a high quality program that Prepared by The Aubrey Group 04/13/2022 supplements and broadens educational & stimulating experiences by offering homework assistance, tutoring, creative & fun activities, project based learning projects, and lots of fun, while also supporting our families.
